The Traxsy website sets no cookies. It saves your language and animation choices in your browser's local storage, only when you make them, plus a temporary technical flag if a page fails to load after an update. This page lists exactly what is stored, what it is for, and how to remove it.
1. Introduction
This Cookies Policy applies to traxsyapp.com and its subdomains. It complements our Privacy Policy: the Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, and this page explains how the website uses cookies and similar technologies.
By "cookies" we mean any technology that lets a website store information in your browser and read it again later. That includes cookies in the strict sense, plus localStorage, sessionStorage and similar browser storage.
3. What the site stores
The complete list of what the Traxsy website stores in your browser:
traxsy_locale: first-party, in your browser's local storage (not a cookie). Saved only when you pick a language, so your next visit opens in that language.traxsy_motion: first-party, in your browser's local storage (not a cookie). Saved only when you use the pause-animations control, so the site remembers whether decorative animation should play.traxsy_chunk_reload: first-party, in your browser's session storage (not a cookie). Written only if part of the site fails to load after we publish an update, so the page reloads once instead of repeatedly. It is removed when the page loads successfully.
That is everything: no cookies, no analytics, no _ga, no _fbp, no advertising identifiers and no fingerprinting.
4. Strictly necessary storage
The two settings are stored only after you make a choice, and only to remember it. Without them, the site falls back to your browser's language (or English) and to your device's motion setting on every visit. The technical flag exists only to recover from a page that failed to load.
Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and the national laws that implement it, storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for does not require consent. We list it here for transparency.
5. Analytics
The website does not use analytics. It loads no analytics scripts and sets no analytics cookies, so there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to. If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent before it runs.
6. Advertising and marketing
Traxsy does not advertise on this website and sets no advertising cookies. The site doesn't embed Meta (Facebook) Pixel, Google Ads conversion tags, TikTok Pixel or any equivalent. If that ever changes, this page will be updated and you'll be asked for consent before any such tag runs.
7. Third-party services on this website
Apart from our web host, the website loads one third-party resource. It is not a tracking or advertising tool and sets no cookies through this site. The site's fonts are served from our own host.
- Hostinger: our web host. It processes standard request data, such as your IP address, in server logs to deliver the site.
- Unsplash: blog cover photos are loaded from
images.unsplash.com. Unsplash receives your IP address and standard request data when your browser fetches a photo.
There are no YouTube, Vimeo, X (Twitter), Facebook, LinkedIn or other social-media embeds. Separately, the Traxsy app contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.
8. How to control storage
- Browser settings: every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data, including local storage, for any site. The steps differ by browser; allaboutcookies.org keeps an up-to-date guide.
- Private browsing: in a private or incognito window, site data is discarded when you close the window.
If you block or clear site data, the site won't remember your choices between visits, but everything else keeps working.
9. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
The website does not track you and stores nothing that isn't strictly necessary, so there is nothing for a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track (DNT) signal to switch off. If we ever add non-essential storage, we will treat a GPC signal as a refusal of consent.
10. Retention
traxsy_locale: kept in your browser until you pick another language or clear this site's data.traxsy_motion: kept in your browser until you change the setting or clear this site's data.traxsy_chunk_reload: removed once the page loads, and in any case when you close the tab.
11. Changes to this policy
If we add, change or remove anything the site stores, we update this page and the effective date at the top. Anything that needs consent, such as analytics, will not run until you have given it.
12. Contact
